I’m not sure if I understand the Kimmelman Article completely, but what I got out of it was that art and the final project is not always a planned outcome that you want to achieve from the beginning. It is something that takes time. New ideas can come from past experiences or present ones. Maybe that moment where you think you messed up or did something on accident turned out to be something great and you want to incorporate it into your final product. Another thing that I read that I thought was interesting was that sometimes artists think there done, but after time something may come up and you might want to add something. I think that is the coolest part about art is that the possibilities are endless and nothing is really planned.
All in all I liked this article if I had to critic one thing it was the fact that it was worded weird and hard to understand at first. I think that that was partially due to the fact that it was only a small section of a big piece.
